UnGyaan Series
The problem with adoption of social media, Web 2.0 and many many more such vague technology/marketing buzzwords is the lack of fundamental understanding.
I'm trying to demystify most of the chaff to show you the two grains of the clear picture. Most applications/technologies/phenomenon are pretty simple - but have been jargonified a lot - a lot, a lot, a lot!! Trying to really understand what these technologies do and how they can be leveraged can be painful and googling can get you fragments - you need to sit and put them together! Let me do the honors!
Coming up: posts about social bookmarking, microblogging, User Generated Content, social networking - all explained in plain English.

How delicious are you?
"We are what we bookmark"
I strongly believe in this. Each time you take a nugget from the internet and store it in organized world of delicious, you are adding a block to your online persona! Recently - I came across this really cool visualization tool at wordle.net . Tag clouds have been around on Wordpress blogs for a while - but this is something else.
Check out my tag cloud - and YES, I'm obsessed with twitter and I love lifehacks! Try doing this to your own blog or delicious page and see if it reflects your interests and the magnitude of it.
